All protective bollards were powder-coated in RAL 7021, perfectly matching the original colour of the Smappee charging stations. This creates a clean, professional look in which the protective bollards blend seamlessly with the charging infrastructure.

White Protection for Smappee EV Dual Charging Stations

To safeguard the Smappee EV Dual charging stations, we installed 30 wide protective bollards. As the charging stations are finished in white, the bollards were also supplied in white to create a consistent and visually appealing appearance. This solution not only enhances the overall look of the charging area but also provides effective protection against damage caused by vehicles manoeuvring on the parking lot.

Black Protective Bollards for Ohmy Mounting Poles

In addition to the charging stations, we installed 6 black protective bollards around the Ohmy mounting poles. These mounting poles, part of our own product range, were paired with matching black protection to ensure a cohesive finish. This setup helps protect both the mounting structures and charging infrastructure from accidental impacts. Together with Renotec, we delivered a safe, durable, and visually attractive solution tailored to the specific needs of their site.

An inventive solution for a new charger

What makes this project stand out is the approach taken during installation. The Enphase IQ EV Charger 2 typically requires a dedicated backplate for proper mounting on a pole. As this was not yet available, an existing backplate designed for another charger was carefully modified. This smart adjustment ensured a stable and secure installation without compromising on quality or appearance.

Free choice from all brands of charging stations

The mobile charging unit is designed to support four AC charging stations (7 kW, 11 kW or 22 kW), with full freedom in choosing the brand and model. Charging stations can be installed with or without fixed cables. Power is supplied via a CEE connection (400V three-phase) positioned on the side of the unit, allowing quick deployment without permanent electrical installation.

Flexibility in terms of personalisation

The Ohmy Mobile Charger can be delivered as a structural frame only — a robust steel construction — or as a fully equipped product including electrical distribution cabinet with protection and safety components. This flexibility makes it suitable for organizations that require temporary charging capacity across multiple locations.

The strength of our universal mounting post lies in its flexibility. It is compatible with most leading brands such as Smappee, Alfen, Zaptec, Easee, and of course the EV Chargeking ETAP pro. This brand-neutral approach offers installers and companies full flexibility, allowing them to switch charger brands in the future without replacing the entire mounting infrastructure.

The post is weather-resistant, corrosion-free and easy to install. It provides a strong and secure mounting solution while maintaining a clean and professional appearance, whether installed at a private residence or on a company parking lot.

From garage to driveway: a well-thought-out cable route

Installer Greenson, our customer, created a practical connection between indoors and outdoors by making a discreet opening in the garage wall. Through this opening, the charging cable runs from the indoor-installed charger to the outside of the property, where the cars are parked. This allows for convenient outdoor charging without exposing the charging station itself.

One accessory, multiple applications

The Ohmy cable holder was mounted on the exterior wall and ensures that the charging cable can be neatly and efficiently stored after use. Although our cable holders are most commonly sold in combination with an Ohmy mounting pole — ideal for freestanding installations — this project clearly shows that the cable holder also works perfectly without a mounting pole.

For wall-mounted setups or situations where the charger is located indoors, the cable holder offers the same benefits: a clean driveway, no loose cables, and enhanced convenience during every charging session.
